Simple, budget friendly DIY Natural Insect Repellent that won’t harm you or your skin

You’ve made it a point to get outside more and enjoy the welcoming air of the season, perhaps even in winter. The fresh air, daily doses of the sun to produce necessary vitamin D, and BUGS.

If you’re like me, you are a bug magnet. Bugs are the main reason I don’t fancy going outside. Dealing with the itchy bites later is never fun.

And so, you resort to using bug spray, insect repellent, whatever you may want to call it.
But did you know commercial repellents are full of toxins? DEET is in many commercial products and its safety is questionable, at best. You can read more about DEET here.
So what can you use instead of DEET laden products?

Why, your own DIY insect repellent, of course! This is a very quick and simple recipe that you can use on the whole family.
